MercyTree International Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to transforming healthcare culture and restoring hope across underserved communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. We exist to bridge the gap between urgent medical needs and sustainable, long-term community wellbeing—by delivering accessible healthcare, humanitarian relief, and life-changing development programs to the people who need them most.
Rooted in compassion and driven by impact, we work across rural villages, hard-to-reach areas, and communities affected by poverty, disasters, and systemic inequality. Our model integrates medical outreach, preventive care, essential supplies, community projects, education, and capacity-building—empowering families to live healthier, safer, and more dignified lives.
At MercyTree, we believe true change happens when support meets strategy. That’s why we combine global partnerships, local leadership, and innovative technology to create sustainable solutions that last. From medical missions and mobile clinics to water projects, emergency relief, agriculture, training programs, and digital health systems, every initiative is designed with one purpose:
to save lives today and build resilient communities for tomorrow.
We are more than an organization—we are a movement of caregivers, volunteers, partners, and everyday people united by a shared mission:
to bring hope where it is needed, healing where it is lacking, and opportunities where they’ve been denied.
Together, we are building a healthier future for families across Africa—one community at a time.
Mercytree, as an organization is formed, for one mission and one purpose, to build a better and prosperous community by building healthy families. We feel this mission can only be accomplished by focusing on multiple areas that impact the well-being of the families and communities. We strongly believe a community is only as prosperous as the families that make it up.
To help individual families and communities that have been underserved in rural communities of Sub-Sahara Africa to have access to life-saving medicines, training, and humanitarian services. Thus, building a better and healthy community.
