The Africa Regional Team is the driving force behind MercyTree’s mission on the ground. Based across communities in Nigeria and wider Sub-Saharan Africa, our regional staff, field coordinators, nurses, community health workers, and program leads bring compassion, expertise, and deep cultural understanding to every project we deliver.
This team is responsible for turning strategy into action—conducting medical outreach, coordinating humanitarian shipments, supporting maternal and child health programs, managing community projects, and ensuring that lifesaving services reach families in even the most remote areas. Their dedication ensures that MercyTree’s work is not just impactful, but sustainable, culturally rooted, and community-led.
Working closely with village leaders, local clinics, traditional birth attendants, government agencies, and global volunteers, the Africa Regional Team strengthens trust, builds capacity, and delivers healthcare with dignity. They are the heart of our day-to-day impact, ensuring that every donation, every shipment, and every program creates real, measurable change.
From emergency response logistics to digital health adoption, from youth engagement to agricultural and water projects, this team brings innovation, leadership, and hope to communities who need it most.
