First Responder Initiative
The program provides first aid training, equipment, and supplies for communities, institutions, and schools. The focus is on training and educating people on the importance of CPR in medical emergencies. We are also training a network of CPR technicians to expand the program. Most importantly, we research and develop new techniques and technologies to continuously improve our work.
Our goal is to train 200 nurses and 15 partner organizations by 2023. When fully implemented, this program will reduce health complications and other health risks associated with a lack of CPR experience. It will also reduce health emergencies and pressure on our programs.
